Adult quality for younger players
This mitt is top notch. Bought for 12U catcher. Will take some time or money to break in. Son says this has better feel than his current R9. If breaking in yourself expect a month or more before game ready.

Product Summary: 2026 Heart of the Hide Baseball Gloves | Youth Contour Fit Models

From Rawlings
PREMIUM HEART OF THE HIDE LEATHER | Made with ultra-premium full-grain US steerhide leather trusted by generations of MLB players, Heart of the Hide ContoUR Fit gloves deliver durability, structure, and performance in a design built for younger athletes
YOUTH CONTOUR FIT TECHNOLOGY | Designed for youth players and athletes with smaller hands, ContoUR Fit features a narrower wrist opening, lowered finger stalls, and a contoured hand shape for improved control, quicker transfers, and confident fielding
READY 2 GO BREAK-IN | Heart of the Hide ContoUR Fit gloves feature R2G technology with additional factory break-in, requiring 35% player break-in compared to standard Heart of the Hide gloves that require 60% player-driven break-in for a game-ready feel
PREMIUM FIT & COMFORT | Adjustable wrist system customizes fit for secure feel, while the contoured hand opening reduces glove movement. Deer-tanned cowhide palm lining creates soft feel, and the thermo-formed wrist pad wicks moisture for lasting comfort
VERSATILE UTILITY PERFORMANCE | The 11.25″ Pro I Web provides a compact design with quick transfers and reliable control for second basemen, shortstops, third basemen, and utility players developing fast hands across the field.
