This is an excellent quality bat that feels well balanced. I have the “27-inch” bat, which I actually measure at 27 1/8”. The barrel size seems accurate at 2 ¾”, though it might be just a hair under that.
The color is vibrant and easy to pick out of the bat bag. The grip is comfortable to hold, and the swing feels smooth and balanced. Admittedly, I have a hard time telling the difference between a $150 bat and a $300 bat, but something about this one might feel smoother than my Easton Mav 1. So much comes down to personal preference. Nevertheless, this one is undoubtedly constructed well with high-quality materials and craftsmanship.
Personally, I have a hard time justifying $300 for a child-size bat, but if your child is taking the game seriously, this might be a good choice to give them an extra edge. The quality is certainly there, and when I was researching, I frequently found this bat series among the top few advised by people who know bats far better than I do.
