    After a season of my kid playing on the Defensive line and as a Tightend for 14u I can honestly say that this shirt holds up. I have bought several different shirts through the years and one problem I usually had with other brands was placing them in the washing machine messed up the hexagon padding. The Under Armour brand has not failed one time this whole season through multiple washes and the daily grind of being in a position that requires lots of contact. After all this I can say the durability is top of the line. My kid find the shirt comfortable with zero restrictions while making catches and tackles. Adding all these factors together and how much protection it gives the value is definitely there.
